Swift Haulage Berhad has been nominated for Best Logistics Operator at the Transport Expo Asia (TXA) Awards 2026, recognised for its integrated logistics network spanning container haulage, land transportation, warehousing, freight forwarding, container depots and cold chain services. With operations across Malaysia, Singapore and Thailand, the company combines its own transport fleet and facilities with digital systems to support supply chain reliability.
Connecting the Supply Chain Through Integrated Services
Established in 2011 as a container haulage operator, Swift has expanded into a logistics group operating across 32 locations and serving more than 1,900 active customers. Listed on Bursa Malaysia’s Main Market since 2021, the company recorded RM776.1 million in revenue in 2025.
Its operations are supported by a fleet of 1,755 prime movers and 6,595 trailers and other equipment. Swift also operates approximately 1.8 million square feet of warehouse space and container depots with a capacity of about 28,500 twenty-foot equivalent units (TEU).
This combination allows the company to coordinate cargo movements across multiple stages of the supply chain, from ports and inland transportation to storage and final delivery.
Measuring Reliability Through Operational Performance
In 2025, Swift transported 528,423 TEU of containers, which it estimates represented approximately 7.4% of laden import and export containers handled at Malaysian ports that year, excluding transhipment and empty containers. Its customs clearance volumes also increased from 238,930 TEU in 2023 to 291,211 TEU in 2025, reflecting growth in its documentation and clearance operations.
Warehouse performance provides another measure of its operational consistency. Between 1 January and 29 September 2026, 99.84% of 273,085 outbound order lines were shipped in the exact quantities ordered. Meanwhile, 99.65% of 105,344 delivery orders were correct across every line.
Between January and August 2026, 96% of 28,458 measured delivery legs were completed by their planned end time, reflecting the company’s delivery performance during the period.
These figures demonstrate the importance of accuracy and timeliness in managing high volumes of cargo, particularly when customers depend on coordinated transportation and inventory movements.
Strengthening Safety and Operational Standards
Managing a large transport fleet requires consistent safety oversight. Swift operates a 24-hour command centre that monitors trucks through GPS tracking and responds to speeding, route deviations, harsh braking and excessive idling.
In 2025, the company deployed the G7 Fleet Management System across its nationwide fleet, combining GPS tracking, fuel monitoring, real-time analytics and AI-powered driver monitoring. Its trucks are also equipped with advanced driver assistance system cameras and driver monitoring technology.
Swift’s safety performance improved between 2023 and 2025, with vehicle accidents declining from 402 to 371. Its lost time injury frequency rate also improved from 2.21 in 2024 to 1.78 in 2025, with no work-related fatalities recorded in either 2024 or 2025.
Digitalisation and Cleaner Logistics Operations
Swift is strengthening warehouse operations through configurable warehouse management systems and automation. Its AllGo CoreLogix system supports receiving, storage, picking and shipping, while its in-house PartnerHub tool converts customer order documents into warehouse orders without manual data entry.
The company is also developing SwiftPortal, a client dashboard intended to provide warehouse customers with live visibility of stock and orders.
On the sustainability front, Swift deployed four electric prime movers by the end of 2025 and added three more in 2026. It has established charging facilities at Westport, North Port and Tebrau, and signed a head of agreement for 50 electric prime movers with SINOTRUK International. Approximately 1,600 kWp of solar panels have also been installed across eight facilities.
Advancing Integrated Logistics in Malaysia
As a nominee for Best Logistics Operator at the TXA Awards 2026, Swift demonstrates how an integrated network, measurable service performance and investment in technology can support complex logistics operations.
Its combination of owned transport assets, warehouse infrastructure, safety systems and digitalisation initiatives highlights the operational coordination required to move goods reliably across the supply chain.
