At EICMA 2026 in Milan, SWM, a brand of Shineray, unveiled two all-terrain vehicle ranges: the Trailhunter ATVs and Nomader UTVs. The launch featured two flagship models aimed at uses ranging from recreation and long-distance expeditions to agricultural and forestry work.
The Trailhunter range emphasizes sporty, versatile ATVs. Its flagship, the long-wheelbase Trailhunter Touring 1000, has a 999 cc V-twin engine producing 101 hp and is designed for stable cruising, two-person trips and demanding off-road use. The range also includes the Touring 720 ULT, which offers three-mode drive and power steering, and the compact 580 PRO, suited to shorter off-road outings.
The Nomader range focuses on utility and multi-person outdoor travel. The two-row Nomader Crew 1000 combines the 101 hp V-twin engine with a 450 kg cargo-bed payload and 830 kg towing capacity. Other models include the hybrid Nomader Hybrid PRO and single- and two-row 720 PRO variants for work and group expeditions. SWM also displayed a cutaway 1,200 cc engine prototype.
The company presented its “Vast Terra” design philosophy as a response to practical off-road and recreational needs, with a product range spanning different vehicle sizes and powertrain types.

SWM Showcases Flagship Trailhunter 1000 and Nomader 1000 at EICMA 2026

On November 3 (Milan local time), SWM, a brand of Shineray, held a product launch at E ICMA 2026, the Milan International Two-Wheel Exhibition. The event unveiled

two major all-terrain vehicle lineups: the Trailhunter ATV series and the Nomader UTV series. Two flagship models—the Trailhunter Touring 1000 and the Nomader Crew 1000—made their debut in Milan, covering diverse scenarios ranging from  recreational off-roading, agricultural and forestry work, and long-distance expeditions to new-energy outdoor applications.

As the core series of this launch, the Trailhunter ATV range focuses on sporty, all- round all-terrain vehicles. Making its major premiere at the event, the long-wheelbase Trailhunter Touring 1000 ATV is powered by a 999 cc V-twin engine, delivering 101 hp and 93.5 N · m of torque, with an exceptional 311 mm of ground clearance and an 830 kg maximum towing capacity; it measures 2,455 × 1,270 ×1,509 mm and weighs 440 kg. The long-wheelbase setup delivers more stable high- speed cruising and a more relaxed two-up long-distance posture. Taking the European-style sporty all-round ATV as its benchmark, it is engineered for demanding long-distance expeditions and off-road work alike, and with its all-round capability redefines the global stature of the European-style sporty all-round ATV. The Trailhunter Touring 720 ULT long-wheelbase ATV is powered by a 650 cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine with a BOSCH electronic fuel-injection system, delivering 55 hp and 58 N · m of torque. It features Tri-Power three-mode drive and three-mode EPS electric power steering, with front and rear double A-arm suspension offering 260 mm of travel—20% more than comparable models—along with an 800 kg maximum towing capacity and 293 mm of ground clearance.

Finished in a Desert Gold with SWM Red two-tone livery, it is purpose-built for two up long-distance adventures while balancing recreational fun with light-duty work needs. The shorter-wheelbase Trailhunter 580 PRO delivers 49 hp, an 800 kg maximum towing capacity and 280 mm of ground clearance; its compact, agile dimensions make it well suited to short off-road runs through forests, deserts and similar terrain.

The other major lineup, the Nomader UTV series, focuses on versatile utility work and multi-person outdoor roaming. Making its Milan debut, the flagship Nomader Crew 1000 two-row UTV is powered by a 999 cc V-twin engine producing 101 hp and 93.5 N · m. It offers a 450 kg cargo-bed payload and an 830 kg maximum towing capacity, measuring 3,925 × 1,625 × 1,950 mm and weighing 1,080 kg. As the flagship of SWM’s all-round comfortable UTV range, it redefines the flagship UTV experience with flagship-grade power, space and comfort—equally capable of heavy-duty tasks such as agricultural and forestry material transport and of accompanying users on comfortable long-distance expeditions, embodying the brand’s understanding of and pursuit of ‘all-round comfort.’

Also on display within the same series is the Nomader Hybrid PRO hybrid UTV, finished in Sprout Green, measuring 2,900 × 1,470 × 2,012 mm and weighing 710 kg, providing a new-energy mobility solution for outdoor scenarios.

The single-row Nomader 720 PRO UTV, finished in Desert Gold with SWM Red accents, measures 2,900 × 1,470 × 1,980 mm and weighs 610 kg; the extended two-row Nomader Crew 720 PRO UTV measures 3,720 × 1,470 × 1,980 mm and weighs 750 kg. Both 720-platform UTVs deliver 55 hp, an 800 kg towing capacity, 292 mm of ground clearance and a 350 kg cargo bed payload, and support switchable 2WD/4WD to meet scenarios such as agricultural and forestry material transport and group expeditions.

In addition to the complete vehicle lineup, the booth also displays a cutaway prototype of a 1,200 cc engine, measuring 756 × 552 × 665 mm and weighing 88 kg. It visually presents the powertrain’s hardware structure and showcases the brand’s platform R&D reserves to the public.

At this exhibition, SWM introduced ‘Vast Terra’, its new design philosophy. Through actual vehicles, it connects the needs of adventure-and-recreation users with those of practical-work users, building a complete all-terrain product matrix spanning mid-displacement to flagship and internal-combustion to hybrid, and continuously refining its ORV (off-road vehicle) outdoor-mobility solutions for the global market.
