Non-Muslims in a Muslim-Majority World

Malaysia often proudly touts itself as a multicultural nation with people of all stripes living together in harmony. With a Malay Muslim majority, it’s seems reasonable enough to assume that they would occupy most authoritative positions. Where does that leave the minorities, who feel like they have been forgotten?
