In the world of business, age is just a number. Just ask Mukesh Maran,
who at the age of 20, founded the software development company SegWitz.
Today, the company is helping a growing list of clients in over nine countries
unlock exponential growth through digitalisation. He highlights the secrets to
his success and his plans for the coming year.
“Our primary objective as tech enablers is to help clients achieve their goals and enhance their return on investment (ROI). We study the market, their consumer behaviour and build a software that will deliver a high user adoption rate. This ‘SegWitz experience’ or service delivery standard is what differentiates us in the market.
As a result, SegWitz experienced a 200 percent growth in 2021. In addition, existing clients consisting of well-known brands have appointed SegWitz as their exclusive digital partner – a feather in our cap as these big companies usually work with multiple vendors but SegWitz was the exception.
Over the past year, we also focused on strengthening our corporate culture and direction and building a strong team committed to making SegWitz the best software company by 2028.
A Sandbox for Start-Ups
2022 will mark a new beginning for SegWitz. We have established a new entity called SegWitz Sandbox that will focus solely on start-ups whereas SegWitz will cater to medium and large corporations. By segmenting our business, we can optimise our resources and increase our impact on clients.
SegWitz Sandbox will enable start-ups to build their Minimum Viable Product (MVP) affordably without compromising quality. At the same time, they will have access to a pool of resources – funders, development partners, marketing and advertising coaching – provided by SegWitz and our established partners.
Start-ups have limited funds and cannot afford to do trial and error. When they join SegWitz Sandbox, they know that they are working with partners who can deliver. Through this initiative, we are empowering start-ups and creating a conducive ecosystem for them
to thrive.
We have big plans for SegWitz moving forward. We want to be a firm that can invoke confidence every time our name appears in the news. So that when a company announces that they have appointed us as their development partner, its stocks shoot up.
SegWitz is definitely on the right track. We are working with the listed electronics company Razer in building new plugins to enhance their payment gateway. We have helped another public listed company set up their online store, increasing their stock prices. Soon, one of our clients will be filing an IPO on the New York Stock Exchange. And this is only the beginning.
There is an increasing demand for digitalisation and software development globally and SegWitz has our eyes on the prize. By focusing on delivering value to our clients, I believe we can emerge as the best software company one day.”
