Fabulous Sunview Sdn. Bhd. has been shortlisted to receive the International Business Review ASEAN Awards 2022 for Corporate Excellence in the Energy Sector for Innovations in Solar Power Solutions.
The Malaysian company has come far since its inception in 2013. Fabulous Sunview Sdn. Bhd. started out with offering rooftop solar photovoltaic (PV) engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning (EPCC) services for residential buildings. Today, their work covers utility-scale solar PV facilities, including large scale solar (LSS) PV plants. Overall, the company has completed over 200 MW worth of projects with another 150 MW on the way.
Innovation is part and parcel of the company’s profile and this can be seen in its proprietary building integrated photovoltaic (BIPV) solar panels. This can be seen with Fabulous Sunview Sdn Bhd’s solar panels, which are suitable to be used as roofing materials. These panels are designed with a mounting structure that acts as a gutter to drain rainwater, which prevents leakage. Conventional panels do not prevent this.
Its excellent level of competency is further evidenced by the many accreditations it has earned and its appointment as a solar farm auditor by Malaysia Debt Venture (MDC) – a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Ministry of Finance Malaysia.
